All ability levels are welcome to take any of our fitness classes.  Modifications are offered for each exercise if needed.

FEATURED GROUP FITNESS CLASS OF THE MONTH

Golden Circuit

This class utilizes a group exercise format for our Golden Age residents who require attention to full body flexibility, stretching, balance training and range of motion exercises. Each class will include a variety of exercises designed to support and increase the skills required for better stability and mobility in daily life activities. Modifications will be made to fit individual needs. This class is for BEGINNER fitness levels and is held in the Group Exercise room.

Strength & Sculpt

Get more toned and confident with this strictly strength class using bands, free weights, bars and body weight exercises. Burn calories, build strength and sculpt a better YOU. Meant for Intermediate to Advanced fitness levels.

Power.Strength.Fitness.

Balance, agility, speed, reactivity, and power will all be tested in this full body class designed to bring out your inner-athlete. Using any and all equipment, you are guaranteed to be challenged every class. This class is for INTERMEDIATE to ADVANCED FITNESS LEVELS.

Core

This class will challenge your entire core! Your core extends far beyond your abs - it encompasses your entire torso including front, back, and sides! Movement of your body either originates or moves through your core. Your core is the powerhouse of your body and provides you with stability.

Functional Mobility

This relaxed-paced class is for anyone looking to improve range of motion, loosen tight muscles and improve mobility for activities of daily living.

Spin and Sculpt

This class is a combination of cardio, body weight exercises and strength training on and off of the spin bike. This unique class will increase your aerobic endurance and anaerobic capacity . INTERMEDIATE TO ADVANCED FITNESS LEVELS. Class is held in the Group Exercise room.

Body Sculpting

Get a great muscle burn with this class! All major muscle groups will be worked in order to gain strength and mobility. This non-cardio based class will use dumb bells, bands, bars and stability balls to strengthen and tone. Suitable for BEGINNER to INTERMEDIATE fitness levels.

Gentle Moves

A full-body, gentle and fun workout, combining toning, light cardio, and stretching. Class will include seated and standing exercises, and optional on-the-floor mat work, with modifications provided to accommodate fitness levels.

Yoga

This non-impact class will help increase body awareness, strength, flexibility and relaxation. You will gently stretch all major muscle groups from head to toe. Modifications will be made to fit individual needs. Open to ALL LEVELS, but participants must be able to get down to and up from the floor.

Restorative Yoga

A passive yoga practice. The yoga poses are held for 5 - 10 minutes while being supported by props. This allows time to release tense muscles and relax. Whether you are a new yoga student or experienced, you will feel the benefits of this passive yoga practice. Bring a small blanket or a beach towel

Water Aerobics

Enjoy a non-impact cardio workout in the pool. It is easy on the joints, safe for ALL LEVELS and gets your heart rate up while toning your whole body. Swimming skills not required!

This is a Colombian dance fitness program with aerobic elements. It may involve squats, lunges and elements of hip hop, samba, salsa, meringue, mambo and martial arts. INTERMEDIATE FITNESS LEVELS.

A fun aerobic low impact, full body workout that also emphasizes balance, core and improving mobility.

Cycle

Using High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), this workout provides a variable high to low intensity cardio program. Class will include challenging aerobic and anaerobic segments on the bike. INTERMEDIATE to ADVANCED FITNESS LEVELS. Held in the Cycling room.
